Yeah, I had vowed that I wouldn't let down my thoughts of the past days. Though, I didn't know what I would find by living the life of yesterday. That seemed alive then, though I couldn't find a connection in another day. It looked good like nothing else I found, dreams I'd left in past days. Now I trust that life's exceptional, though I don't dream it the same way. I'd believed in a peaceful life, to have all that it takes, in love with a particular girl of mine, having friends that care. Still, there was a little nightmare there, warning of things that stay away. I believed in this zodiac of mine that I created in past days. Though I never could explain it, how it reminds me of what I have today. But I cared and didn't let it away, and I bore dreams of yesterdays. And I know that thoughts can turn fake. But I'm not neglecting what they say. Now I look at it funnily: how was I to predict today? But, if I didn't stick to that, I would have lost the chance to say; that I wasn't alone in that, I had help from other days. Guarding angel, or the wish of mine? Now it looks so good to stay. All felt alive yesterday, though I don't dream it the same way. But I cared and didn't let it away, and I bore dreams of yesterdays. And I know that thoughts can turn fake. But I'm not neglecting what they say.
